Pride Month Spotlight : Live Nation Venue Marketing Manager Kaylee Largay

We believe that our Ticketmaster and Live Nation team should be proud of who they are and the work that they do. To nurture that, employee resource groups were created to support and advocate for our employees in the workplace. One community that continues to promote inclusion and set new industry standards is our Pride Nation, a LGBTQIA+ group for employees at every level of their careers.

We spoke to Live Nation Venue Marketing Manager, Promotions & Partnerships, Kaylee Largay, to get her firsthand account of working on Live Nation’s Venues Inc/US Concerts division in Beverly Hills.

Q: What were some of the factors that influenced your decision to join Live Nation?
I joined Live Nation to play a role in the sense of community at a live event – the sentiment is at the core of everything I do. At Live Nation, I am able to combine my love for marketing and music to bring experiences and a form of escapism into fans’ lives.

Q: How big of a role does a company’s commitment to diversity and inclusion play in your career decision making?
Commitment to diversity and inclusion is, and should be, integral to every company – each employee should be provided the framework by their place of employment to feel represented, cared for and accepted – regardless of their background.

Q: Any cool projects you’re currently working on that you can share?
My team and I recently wrapped up National Concert Week, which is our largest annual promotion, featuring $20 All-In tickets to great upcoming shows.

Q: What excites you most about the work culture at Live Nation?
I love the company culture because I can be myself and am constantly surrounded by people who push me to be better, both personally and professionally.

Q: What advice do you have for anyone who wants to join Live Nation full time?
Be a sponge – soak up new skills and knowledge at any chance you get, work hard and be a good person.

Q: How have you grown your career at Live Nation?

I began my career at Live Nation in the fall semester of 2018 as a Premium Seat Sales Intern and was hired full time on the national marketing team as a Marketing Coordinator in May 2018. I now lead Promotions & Partnerships for Live Nation’s Owned and Operated Amphitheaters and am learning as much as I possibly can. Live Nation has given me all of the tools I need to be successful, while trusting my autonomy and drive to progress every day.

Q: Which live event are you most excited to see this year?
I am most excited to see Billie Eilish’s tour when it comes to town!
