Syracuse University and Ticketmaster, the global leader in advanced ticketing technologies, today announced an extension of their 14 year-long partnership. As Syracuse’s Official Ticketing Partner, Ticketmaster will facilitate ticketing for all college athletics games, concerts and external events at the Carrier Dome.
The fan experience is at the forefront of the partnership, with Ticketmaster elevating each step of the fan journey from on-sale to event day. Highlights include Ticketmaster’s ‘Virtual Venue’ where fans can see a 3D view of every seat to “try before they buy,” and event technology that manages the flow of fans into the venue on game day to ensure a smooth, seamless entry.
Syracuse will also leverage Ticketmaster’s industry-leading digital ticketing technology, providing a safer, more personalized experience for fans, while unlocking new contactless capabilities. Additionally, Ticketmaster’s platform will facilitate seamless authentication for tickets being resold, so fans have greater peace of mind as they shop their ticket options.
