For the first time, Ticketmaster is rolling out its digital ticketing technology to all National Football League teams for the 2018 season, providing fans with downloadable tickets to access stadiums across the country – using just their smartphones.

With the rise of cardless point-of-sale payments, digital ticketing is gaining traction among fans across multiple industries. Ticketmaster’s digital ticketing system, called Presence, will be installed at every NFL stadium and can also be used for shows or concerts at those venues. Presence was used for approximately 75% of scanned tickets at this year’s College Football Playoffs and 85% of scanned tickets at the NHL All-Star game in Florida, according to CBS Sports. This technology will prevent fraud, speed up wait times and educate fans through push notifications.

To mark this monumental partnership, Ticketmaster is offering fans a chance to win a pair of tickets to all 2018 home games for the NFL team of their choice by entering the contest on social media. Participants must follow Ticketmaster on Twitter or Instagram and post photos or videos showing their passion for their favorite team using the hashtag #TicketmasterNFLEntry.
