Ticketmaster has signed a multiyear contract extension to remain the U.S. Soccer Federation’s official ticketing partner. The Live Nation-owned Ticketmaster will deploy its new identity-based ticketing platform Presence for both U.S. men’s and women’s national team games.
The XFL has hired Elevate Sports Ventures to sell season tickets and premium seats for the league’s reboot. The two-year deal extends to Elevate signing a founding partnership in the business solutions category, said Jeffrey Pollack, the XFL’s president and chief operating officer.

Moshtix, led by its managing director Harley Evans, a seasoned ticketing veteran with experience in the U.K. and his homeland, New Zealand, is considered one of the biggest independents in a ticketing space dominated by Ticketmaster and Ticketek, which together account for an estimated 80 percent of all live entertainment tickets sold in these parts.

Ticketmaster has become the official ticketing partner and marketplace of the new Canadian Premier League (CPL) football competition. The ticketing giant will provide fans with mobile tickets for the league’s inaugural season, which kicks off in April 2019. This makes the CPL the first Canadian professional sports league to launch in a fully mobile environment. Under the agreement, fans will need to access their tickets on their mobile device via the CPL Centre Circle app or by downloading them to their mobile wallet.
