Veteran Ticket Foundation, also known as Vet Tix, goes above and beyond to honor military veterans, service members, first responders and their families. As one of the leading distribution partners for Ticketmaster, Vet Tix has impacted the lives of countless individuals.
Eddie Rausch, Chief Operating Officer, Founder and Chairman of the Board at Vet Tix has been with the organization since its inception in 2008 and witnessed its remarkable growth and impact over the last 15 years. Rausch and his team recently reached an impressive milestone by distributing over 20 million free tickets to military veterans and first responders.
Vet Tix and Ticketmaster share a common vision — ensuring no empty seat goes to waste. Together, we are on a mission to help service members and veterans create cherished memories and reintegrate into their communities, making every ticket count.
Distributing Millions of Tickets in Partnership With Ticketmaster
When Vet Tix established a partnership with Ticketmaster, they recognized an untapped opportunity for teams, promoters and season ticket holders to donate unused seats, prompting the launch of an integration with Ticketmaster’s Distributed Commerce platform to automate the donation and fulfillment of tickets. Since then, the collaboration has enabled Vet Tix to manage and distribute a vast number of tickets to 2.1 million verified military veterans and 400,000 first responders.
Ticketmaster’s digital ticketing technology has also significantly reduced processing times, allowing Vet Tix to receive, upload and distribute donated tickets within minutes.
Ticketmaster gives us the ability to manage more tickets more efficiently to service more military veteran and first responder families. We couldn’t be more excited about the relationship we have with Ticketmaster.

How Clients Work With Vet Tix
Vet Tix works with an array of partners, including major concert tours, touring family shows, college sports and professional sports leagues like the NBA, NHL, and NFL. Since 2019, 6.5 million tickets have been distributed through the Ticketmaster and Vet Tix partnership. Of these, 2 million tickets were for music-related events, with the remaining distributed for sports, family and arts events.
When our Vet Tixers get those tickets, they come to the stadium, and then all of a sudden they’re sitting on the dugout. That’s a unique experience that these people normally would never be able to afford on their own or even have access to.
Eddie Rausch
COO, Founder, Chairman of the Board at VetTix
Vet Tix offers a seamless, low-maintenance integration experience for Ticketmaster clients without incurring additional costs, which has allowed them to acquire and retain over 200 partners. Rausch notes, “Once we get them integrated, the partners see the value in it and see the thinking and what it really means to the community and we haven’t lost a single one.”
What Industry Leaders Are Saying
Giving veterans the opportunity to experience the power of live music has been an honor. Live Nation is very proud of our partnership with Vet Tix and we’ll continue to support however we can.
Michael Rapino
CEO, President, LiveNation Entertainment
Eddie and his team are wonderful… We’ve worked with them for years, and their veterans show up to games. If you send a ticket to a Vet Tixer, there’s a very high probability that they’re going to use that ticket, which creates a lot of value. Vet Tix is by far our highest performing charitable organization of the ones we’ve distributed tickets to.

Director of Ticketing, Peach Bowl Inc.
