Ticketmaster will be the first ticketer to launch the new, enhanced tickets in Apple Wallet experience for fans on iOS 18. This feature offers sports teams and venues the ability to create customized, interactive, contactless passes that provide new opportunities to engage fans in meaningful ways before they even set foot in the venue.

An Interactive and Easy Way to Enter Venues

Ticketmaster tickets in Apple Wallet help you build deeper relationships with your fans. By offering customizable NFC tickets, venues can now highlight team logos, extending the team’s identity onto the fan’s device well before the game begins.

Additional interactive elements include the ability to put key event information at fans’ fingertips, like a map of the venue and parking details, recommended playlists from Apple Music, local forecasts from Weather and easy access to location sharing to help fans find their friends when they arrive. These contactless passes become an extension of the gameday experience, helping you engage with your fans.

The new Ticketmaster tickets in Apple Wallet experience unlocks additional channels for fan engagement, including directing fans to download your team or venue app right from the ticket.

Venues and teams can also easily embed links to access important information — including links to merchandise, concessions, event parking and even official team playlists on Apple Music. By tapping into these touchpoints, venues can boost gameday revenue while providing fans with key information to make their overall experience even more seamless.

The new tickets in Apple Wallet experience will be debuting with the Los Angeles FC on October 19, with the Miami HEAT to follow. Additional rollouts are scheduled to take place in 2025.
