The world’s getting younger — Millennials and Gen Z now comprise nearly 2/3rds of the global population. And with every generation comes a shift in priorities — such as Millennials’ preference for experiences. Last year, we saw a 300% increase in the adoption of specialty ticketing integrations, like season passes, seat upgrades, text and group ticketing. Move Over e-Commerce
Fans of all ages demonstrate increasing comfort with mobile technology. They are now more connected and reliant on their mobile devices, resulting in less e-commerce and more m-commerce. In fact, we saw 50% more Ticketmaster.com transactions completed on a mobile device compared to 2019. The pandemic, in large part, drove this cultural change as consumers turned to online commerce due to worldwide lockdowns. When live events returned, the world changed. And our clients were ready to experience the benefits of mobile-forward fan interactions. Nowhere was that more evident than with Arts & Family clients – growing their mobile solution adoptions by 900% last year.
