Ottawa Sports & Entertainment Group (OSEG) announced today a long-term partnership with Ticketmaster. Under the agreement, Ticketmaster will bring its industry-leading ticketing technology to all events in the TD Place stadium and arena complex in Lansdowne, including the Ottawa REDBLACKS Football Club (CFL) and the Ottawa 67’s Hockey Club (CHL).

Ticketmaster is the go-to ticketing provider for most CFL and CHL teams already, so this move felt like a natural fit to provide the best possible and easiest fan experience in the region,” said Mark Goudie, President & CEO, OSEG.  “We are looking forward to having our fans back at TD Place this season, and we are grateful to Ticketmaster for providing them with a front row seat to all the action.”

All TD Place events will leverage Ticketmaster’s digital ticketing platform, which offers fans the ease and convenience of buying and transferring tickets all from one account. Fans can use their mobile device to easily access verified tickets via download to a digital wallet or the Ticketmaster mobile app. With Ticketmaster powering OSEG’s official resale marketplace for REDBLACKS and 67’s home games, fans have the additional peace of mind when shopping for authenticated resale tickets on Ticketmaster.ca.

OSEG’s move toward a digital-first approach will help drive innovation as they leverage Ticketmaster’s backend technology to better understand and engage with fans coming to their venue. Ticketmaster’s platform will enable OSEG to send fans more personalized event information, streamline the entry experience and offer season ticket holders the most convenient and seamless live event experience in the region.

OSEG is really leveling up the fan experience,” said Trevor Allin, Ticketmaster Executive Vice President of Business & Commercial Operations. “It is exciting to partner with them, helping to establish even deeper relationship with REDBLACKS and 67’s fans. We look forward to working together to bring continued innovation to this iconic Canadian sports and entertainment destination.”
